You can also learn about our gift shop ‘Shop with a view’ which is located to the left of Platten’s fish and chips, we offer a range of great gifts and souvenirs!

Established over 40 years ago, Platten’s Fish & Chips are a third generation family business. Traditional fish & chips fresh from the fryer in only a few minutes.

Platten’s fish and chips strive for the very best for our food, our staff and more importantly our customers.

Everything is cooked to order so its fresh on your plate. We are bringing traditional fish and chips in to the 21st century.

We are able to seat up to 82 customers and we offer an eat in or takeaway service at the same great price.

We are one of the finest places to eat in Wells.

We offer you the very finest of seaside foods, along with a selections of drinks, pies and pasties, sausages and a selection of chicken choices, all with a range of mushy peas, buttered bread rolls and sauces.
