After a week of family fun events around the town of Wells-Next-The-Sea in North Norfolk, the annual carnival parade signed off a magical sunny week on the Norfolk coast in a flourish of colour, fun and spectacle.
With some amazing creativity on display in the form of the collection of self-designed floats from competition entrants, the carnival parade made its way through the town passing Wells Quayside with a fantastic view from the Platten’s restaurant.

OVER A CENTURY OF PARTYING
Run by a fantastic team of local volunteers, the Wells Carnival is a non-profit community organisation dedicated to creating affordable family fun for the locals and visitors to the North Norfolk Coast and it’s beaches.
For over 100 years the carnival has been filling the town with colour and has become one of the top things to do in North Norfolk every summer. It will certainly be back next year for 2023 as a headline in the Norfolk Events calendar.
